Introducing a Q&A weekly blog series where Katie will answer all of your puppy/dog questions, submitted by YOU!

I am very excited to announce that my good friend and knowledgeable in all things dog, puppy and canine training, Katie, is going to be joining the Homemade Puppies website to answer all of your questions concerning your fur babies! 


Each week she will answer a canine related question submitted by you!  I am always very impressed by her knowledge, and she has the best advice.  I asked her if she would be kind of enough to do Q&A for us and she willingly agreed!  Whatever question you have about ANYTHING dog related, please submit to info@homemadepuppies.com.  She will choose one question each week and post the answer.  Go ahead...ask away!


Here is all about Katie!


Katie has worked with animals since 1999, but she especially has a love for dogs.  She was a veterinary nurse for 15 years and taught canine obedience classes for 8 years.  She has had numerous continuing education classes in canine health and behavior including the DOGS! Behavioral Course from the University of Indiana.  She has volunteered with the Human League of Lancaster County as a foster home, and was a puppy raiser for a local non-profit service dog organization.  Katie has bottle fed several foster litters of puppies and really enjoys the early stages of puppy development.  Her passion is early socialization and puppy training, as well as helping to choose the correct breed to fit your lifestyle. 

Her family consists of her husband, two daughters, a standard Poodle, Capri, and a Boxer, Gracie.  She enjoys training and walking her dogs, as well as reading.  Capri, standard Poodle, has had three litters of puppies, but is now retired and a beloved family pet. 


Katie looks forward to sharing her experience and knowledge to make your puppy/dog experience the best it can be!
