Toby - AKC English Labrador Retriever (Male)

Our litter of AKC English Labrador Retriever puppies consists of 10 loveable, playful and adorable puppies: 5 black labs and 5 yellow labs. They are affectionate and very social and get a lot of our attention and love, as well as the attention and love of Rowan (mother) and Grizzly (father). Our whelping, sleeping and play areas is our living room, which has been puppy-proofed and filled with toys, a large whelping box, a large crate and lots of floor space for interactive fun for them. They are already well-on-their-way to being crate-trained, as they all seem to love sleeping in the big crate in a big scrum pile with one another. They go in their crate on their own for nap time. We make sure to hold and love each puppy a ton each day and they’ve only ever known love, silliness, gentleness, and individualized attention by my wife and me, as well as Rowan and Grizz. We have also done early neurological stimulation with them (daily, gentle exercises that apply slight stressors to the puppy for a short period at a time to strengthen their neurological system and heart. Puppies with ENS at a young age are proven to have less illness, stronger, cardiac health and live longer, healthier lives). We have accustomed the puppies to getting their nails done with a dog nail Dremel every week since they’ve been born. This has been a hoot! None of them are afraid of the process of nail clipping and act like they’re getting a spa treatment. It’s hysterical!

We have been committed to feeding Rowan and Grizzly a raw diet (raw venison, pork, chicken and turkey), mixed with a blend recommended by the top lab breeders called “Volhard”, with plenty of raw vegetable and fruit toppers on their meals. Our puppy litter is being weaned from Rowan’s milk on a diet of raw venison, fresh goat milk and Volhard as well. They LOVE it and are thriving.

We intend to give all our puppies’ families a copy of the book “The Forever Dog”, which first taught us about raw feeding, timing for feeding and dangers of certain other contaminants in mass produced dog food. We are all-in and believe this lifestyle produces dogs that live longer, healthier and happier lives with less vet bills, by feeding them naturally as nature intended it. We will send all our puppies to their new homes with some of our venison, some Volhard and a raw food starter kit from BJ's Raw in Lancaster, PA. We understand raw feeding may not be possible for everyone but we want to give every parent the tools they need to raise these beautiful puppies and to know the impact of what they feed them.
We will only give our puppies to loving families, who will love and nurture them every day (absolutely no puppy mills or mass-breeders of any sort). We screen all prospective buyers to make sure they are committed to raising our puppies with love, attention and in good health. Your puppy will have a certificate of health from the veterinarian, and be up to date on vaccinations and deworming. Our puppy will come with a 30-day health guarantee. A one-year health guarantee is available, but certain purchaser contract conditions apply.

Rowan Rose & Grizzly Boo

Meet our purebred AKC English Labrador Retriever puppies. Their parents are Rowan Rose (red fox lab mother) and Grizzly Boo (chocolate lab sire). Rowan and Grizzly are 3-year-olds, who both live in our home, and are like our children especially now that our two daughters are off at college. Our family adores our dogs so much that we decided they needed to breed with one another in order to give us a progeny puppy that was part of both of them, hence our first litter of 10 puppies! Rowan is 80 lbs, very beautiful, friendly and very, very intelligent. She loves to cuddle, loves to go for walks and explore the farmlands around our house with us and has proven to be a wonderful and nurturing mother to her litter. We acquired her from a breeder of red fox labs in Lancaster. Grizzly is a 115 lbs chocolate male. He is the epitome of a gentle giant. He loves to snuggle at night with his human mom. He is gentle, solemn, very funny and playful. He loves to swim and especially at the beach. Most surprisingly, Grizzly has loved every minute of fatherhood and has not been separated from the litter but instead enjoys being with them and playing with them every day. We acquired Grizzly from a breeder of chocolate labs in St. Paul, Minnesota.
